A fairly well-marked species, rather similar to C. impunctatus, but with sparse macrotrichia towards the distal edge of the wing only. SD 3, 11-15; AR 1.16-1.28. Female with the third segment of the palp slender, with a single sensory pit at the end of the segment, and two spermathecae. Male genitalia very like those of C. obsoletus, but the ninth sternite with a V-shaped central notch, the membrane bare. The figures are from Glukhova 1989.
