Diagnosis and Notes
The wings are greyish with pale
spots as in the drawing; the second radial cell is in a pale spot. The female
AR is given as 0.41; the SD is 3, 11-15. The male genitalia as shown, typical
of the subgenus Avaritia and much like obsoletus, but differing mainly in
the shape of the ninth sternite which is widely emarginate.
