Culicoides nibleyi Hubert & Wirth 1961: 237. TL Japan
Diagnosis and Notes
The wings are greyish, the second
radial cell dark, followed by a pale spot and then a darker marking extending
almost to vein m1. The female AR is not given in the description, not
measurable. Two spermathecae, the
third palp segment swollen with a large sensory pit.
The male is not known. The figures are from Hubert & Wirth (1961)
