Diagnosis and Notes
A small pale midge, the wings
without markings, and with dark eyes contrasting with the rest of the body.
The female AR is 1.20-1.39; the SD is 3, 11-15. There are two ovoid
spermathecae with short necks; the third segment of the palp is considerably
inflated with a single deep conical sensory pit. The male genitalia as shown;
the ninth tergite traingular and broad with long slender lateral processes;
the parameres broad at the base, tapering to a fine tip, the ninth sternite
membrane bare.

illustrated.
