Diagnosis and Notes
The wings are greyish, with a
distinctive pattern of pale spots; a large pale patch from over the
cross-vein to and just beyond the second radial cell and below the cross-vein
to the base of cell m1; a pale spot in the cubital cell and one in the anal
cell, and faint traces of spots at the ends of cells r5, m1 and m2. The
female third palp segment swollen with a large shallow sensory pit; the AR
1.19-1.27, the SD 3-15. The male genitalia very like those of odiatus,
the ninth sternite membrane densely spiculate.
