de Meillon 1936: 151. TL South Africa.
(de Meillon 1936: 151. ♀, description, figs)
(Braverman, Delecolle, Frish, Rubina & Kremer 1981: 19, record, Israel,

(Chaker, Bailly-Choumara & Kremer 1980: 85. Record, as subravus)
(Boorman 1989: 204. Notes, figs, records in U.A.E.)
Diagnosis and Notes
The wings are greyish, without
markings; the female antennal SD is 3-10. There are two spermathecae, with a
mushroom-shaped ring on the duct. This distinguishes it from azerbajdzhanicus;
arabiensis
is similar but differs in having the radial cells darker. This is typically
an Afrotropical species, the records from North Africa (and Israel) could
refer to corsicus or marcleti.
The wing is not illustrated; the figure of the male genitalia is from Boorman
(1989).
