Ceratopogon schultzei
Enderlein 1908: 459. Namibia
(Kremer 1966: 154. ♂, ♀, notes, fig)
(Kremer, Rebholtz-Hirtzel & Delecolle 1975: 800 , as irroratus, synonymy)
(Cornet & Brunhes 1994: 154. Redescription, figs, key)
Diagnosis and Notes
The wing markings are very like
others of the schultzei group; there are two pale spots in the cubital cell
but the pale spots on either side of the base of vein m2 are separated by the
vein (in kingi
these two spots run together as one large spot extending across the vein).
The figure of the wing is of C.
irroratus (a junior synonym of schultzei)
from Kremer, Rebholtz-Hirtzel & Delecolle (1975)
