Diagnosis and Notes
The wing markings are variable, ranging from two pale spots only, one just touching the second radial cell and one over the cross-vein, to en additional four; one just below the second radial cell, in M1; one in CU; one im M, just below the cross-vein and one in AN just below the cubital fork. The third segment of the palp swollen, with a very large shallow sensory pit, and a single ovoid spermatheca. The antennal SD is3-15; AR 1.56-1.85. Male genitalia as with others of the subgenus; the posterior margin of the ninth tergite convex with a deep central notch, and the membrane spiculate. The figures are from Glukhova (1989).
