Diagnosis and Notes
The wings are greyish, with pale
spots and with the radial cells very dark. It closely resembles sahariensis,
but the pale area below the radial cells is less extensive and there is a
separate rounded pale spot just below this but above the vein m1. The female
AR is 1.14-1.49; the SD is 3, 5, and 7-10. The male genitalia are almost
identical to those of sahariensis.
The figure of the wing is from Khamala and Kettle (1971) and of the male
genitalia from Boorman (1989).
